Jimmy Odukoya, the son of Pastor (Mrs) Bimbo and Taiwo Odukoya, has been appointed as the senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church.

Jimmy Odukoya, the son of Bimbo and Taiwo Odukoya, has been appointed as the senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church. The announcement was made during the church service on Sunday.

Rotimi Okpaise, a pastor, addressed the congregation and revealed that before his passing, Taiwo Odukoya had discussed the succession plan with the board of trustees (BoT) members. Okpaise announced that the BoT has unanimously elected Jimmy as the senior pastor and chairperson of the board.

The installation of Jimmy Odukoya as the senior pastor is scheduled to take place on September 30, 2023, according to Okpaise.

On August 7, the founder of the Fountain of Life Church, Taiwo Odukoya, passed away at the age of 67 in the United States of America. This came less than two years after the death of his wife, Nomthi, who lost a two-year battle with cancer on November 9, 2021.

Taiwo Odukoya had been married to Bimbo for 21 years before her unfortunate death in the 2005 Sosoliso plane crash in Port Harcourt.
